OK so I’m showing off again – but this tele begged for a “Gerlitzing!”
When this came to me the fretboard was very dirty (first picture below), frets were dull and the wood looked like it was lubed with sweat and dead skin cells – Nice!
After my usual Gerlitz Guitar Honey soaking and 0000 wire wool treatment, the results were stunning (below). Notice how the grain has come alive and the thing just looks healthy!!
