Since the new year, three new children have come to live at the Open Arms Village! Meet Abel, Joseph, and Rachael:

Abel is a 12-year-old boy who has been part of our feeding programme in the Kambi Teso slum. He and his brother, Joseph, were left to fend for themselves after the death of their mother last year.

Joseph is Abel’s 11-year-old brother. They are both very thankful to have a safe home and loving family at the Open Arms Village.

Rachael is an 8-year-old girl whose parents both died of HIV/AIDS. Rachael was not in a safe environment living in the slums and is now in a secure home where she will be protected, nurtured, and loved.

So we now have 25 children at the Village: 20 orphans and 5 biological children of the house-parents.
