To say that I was a little intimidated as I drove upto Eaves Hall is rather an understatement – as the majority of our gigs have been in Rugby/Cricket Clubs, the idea of being the function band at this rather “Stately” place did make me question whether they’d booked the right band.
So. Wednesday was our statutory “1 rehearsal” Thursday was PA setup and Friday was the gig.
The Friends of WWB very kindly had paid for our teas – our usual rider of pie and peas was shelved – and we enjoyed salmon, confit of lamb and passion fruit sorbet!!
We were under strict instructions – Food, Auction, Band, Disco, and all noise over by midnight. We actually started playing at 23:30, and seemed to finish after 01:00 – best laid plans eh….
Great sound, great crowd, great venue and deffo one of our top gigs…..
Made even better by the fact that the event raised over £10,000 for our local primary school!

The intense Twerking. Possibly we saw much more than we were meant to…… 😉
And eventually – 3 months later – someone said thank you!
