ELECTRIC: DROP TOP SERIES
Tom Anderson introduced the Drop Top model in 1992. The Dropped or bent top feel is the contouring similar to other models, but features a thick top of bookmatched maple or koa.
DROP TOP
– offset double cutaway Strat-style basswood body, bound figured maple top, bolt-on maple neck, 22-fret maple fingerboard with black dot inlay, standard vibrato, six-on-one-side locking tuners, two single coil and one humbucker pickups, volume/tone control, four mini switches, chrome hardware, 25.5 in. scale, mfg. 1991-present.
DROP TOP T
– similar to Drop Top, except has single cutaway Tele-style body, mfg. 1993-present. This model is also available with the following options: alder or lacewood body; pau ferro, palisander or rosewood fingerboard; fixed bridge or double locking vibrato; and left-handed configuration.
