I say:

You can’t fault the production standards on PRS guitars, but the tone of the pickups has often lacked something to me – often sounding a little “scooped” – the unusual coil tap options offered on the 5 way rotary can on occasions seem unneccessarily complicated.  Clearly all these points were also apparent to the previous owner of this guitar.  The pickups were replaced with standard Gibson pickups and wiring.

One volume, one tone, 3 way toggle – simple.

The body is in great condition apart from an area of wear through to the wood above and in-between the pickups, it’s not immediately noticeable but I have managed to catch it on the photos.  It appears to be play wear from a previous owners “chicken-pickin” style.

Neck and frets are in excellent condition.

Sound is awesome…..

…and it’s easy on the back!!

The case has seen some wear and has a few scrapes and scratches, and clearly has had a tear “taped up.”  All catches work.  Paperwork, allen key and spare locking nuts in the neck pocket.
