This has to be my favourite finish  – Desertburst – and this is a really nice example – the figuring in the “plus” top is really three dimensional, and the top is thankfully relatively scratch free.  The back and lower edge have suffered at the hands of some large metal belt (probably engraved with “Harley Davidson”) – and carry some fairly significant scratches – but none through the lacquer.

Electrics are all original and crackle free.  As shown in the pics this guitar appears to have a Burstbucker #1 in the neck and #2 in the bridge.  Pictured here with Schaller straplock strap pins – the Gibson ones would be reinstalled before despatch.  This guitar has the slightly chubbier ’50’s style neck.

Gibson original hard case included in the sale – as pictured, and it even still has the little red plastic thingy in the combination and a “Made in Canada” sticker on the top!!
