In amberburst. Very cute, very light and great fun. Some muppet has drilled a couple of extra holes in the back though!! Funny thing was that when I got it – it was stuffed with a mix of blue tack and lead to try and increase the mass of the body – can’t understand why as it still balances up OK…..
The Strap pins seem to have been tried in a couple of positions on the rear of the guitar – obviously a previous owner was a “balance fanatic” the old screw holes are visible but at least they’re on the rear of the guitar! There’s an area on the upper bass bout where the lacquer has worn off the front of the guitar (forearm wear), and a small dink on the edge of the guitar next to the wear. The surface has a few other light scratches that really are just normal “wear and tear.”
The pickup covers appear to have been “aged” – but it’s a well done job and they look cool!
Includes dodgy Gibson Original HC – as pictured.
In mint condition this would be valued at about £1350 – so I figure that considering the marks on this it represents an excellent opportunity to score a great guitar for a modest price….
