1990 Gretsch 6120 “Nashville / Chet Atkins”

This guitar is in near perfect condition – just one major scratch to the gold paint on the underside of the scratch plate as shown in the pictures, and some tarnishing to the pickup covers and roller bridge due to the “acidic sweat” of the previous owner – all cosmetic however – everything is functioning properly!

It is quite unusual however due to the lack of the “Chet Atkins” logo on the pick guard, or that funny “G” “Brand” that they seemed to put on these in that era…

– single round cutaway semi-hollow bound maple body, bound f-holes, three-piece maple neck, 22-fret bound ebony fingerboard with pearl block inlay, bound black headstock with pearl horseshoe/logo inlay and three-per-side tuners, adjustamatic metal bridge with ebony base, Bigsby vibrato tailpiece, raised gold pickguard with logo, two humbucker pickups, three knobs (v1, v2, MV), two three-way switches (pickup, tone), gold hardware, available in Black (Model G6120BK), Trans. Orange (Model G6120) or Blue Sunburst (Model G6120 BS) finish, mfg. 1991-present.
